Doves miss out on No.1 by 10 copies!

Lady GaGa has held off Doves' bid for the Number One spot in the UK album by less than ten copies it has been reported.

Elsewhere in the UK album charts this week Kings Of Leon slipped to Number Three with 'Only By The Night' while Bat For Lashes went in at Number Five with 'Two Suns' and Yeah Yeah Yeahs were in at nine with their third album 'It's Blitz.

A number of this weeks chart challengers are also on tour this year.

Doves due to embark on their 2009 tour this month and tickets are still available to compare for all of the dates. The Doves tour kicks off at the Cambridge Corn Exchange on April 15. The Doves tour also visits Belfast Ulster Hall (April 19), Glasgow Barrowland (April 22), Manchester Academy (April 26) and O2 Academy Brixton (May 1 & 2). The Doves tour comes to a close on May 5 at Nottingham Rock City. Doves tickets are available to compare from £18.

Kings of Leon play a series of massive shows at the London O2 Arena and the Manchester Evening News Arena in June. Kings of Leon tickets are available from £90.

The massive U2 360 tour kicks off in August calling at London Wembley Stadium (August 14), Glasgow Hampden Park (August 18), Don Valley Stadium (August 20) and Cardiff Millennium Stadium (August 22). U2 tickets are are available to compare with prices from £80.
