Depeche Mode forced to delay London O2 Arena Show

As previously reported on Tixdaq.com, Dave Gahan's sickness has already forced Depeche Mode to cancel a number of the recent dates on the 2009 Depeche Mode tour. However, it was expected that Dave Gahan would recover in time for the imminent show at the London O2 Arena.
It has now been confirmed that Depeche Mode have been forced to postpone their show at London O2 Arena which was scheduled to take place this Saturday (May 30).
In a statement made on the official Depeche Mode website, the band said: Dave Gahan sincerely thanks his fans for their support, understanding and patience. Depeche Mode deeply regret any problems or inconveniences the cancellations and postponements may have caused.
The show will rescheduled for a later date and tickets will remain valid.
Dave Gahan will obviously have fully recovered in time for the start of the UK winter Depeche Mode tour. The Depeche Mode kicks off at Glasgow SECC on December 12. Depeche Mode are also set to perform live at Birmingham LG Arena (December 13) , London O2 Arena (December 15 & 16) and Manchester Evening News Arena (December 18).
