Danny Welbeck called into England squad

Danny Welbeck has been called into the England squad for tonight's friendly against Ghana at Wembley.

The 20-year-old Sunderland striker, who is on loan at the Black Cats from Manchester United, will take Aaron Lennon's place in the squad after the Tottenham winger felt a twinge in his hamstring yesterday.

Welbeck may face fellow Sunderland striker Asamoah Gyan, who looks certian to start up front for Ghana.
