Capital FM's Summertime Ball coming to Emirates Stadium

Arsenal FC's Emirates Stadium will host the first ever Capital FM Summertime Ball concert on 7 June.

The initial lineup for the Capital FM Summertime Ball is due to be announced on Johnny Vaughan and Lisa Snowdon's breakfast show on 27 April and Capital FM Summertime Ball tickets go on sale on the same day. Capital FM will donate £100,000 of proceeds to the charity Help a London Child.

At least 15 acts confirmed to appear at the Capital FM Summertime Ball will be announced in the coming weeks and will perform in front of a crowd of up to 55,000. Capital FM will broadcast live from Arsenal FC's Emirates Stadium on 7 June from 10am - 10pm.

Top pop acts from the UK and overseas are expected following the success of Capital FM's Jingle Bell Ball held last December at the London O2 Arena. Some of the acts who performed were The Saturdays, Anastacia and Boyzone, and all of these acts are touring the UK from May.

Also on tour from 26 June is Bruce Springsteen who performed the first music event ever held at Arsenal FC's Emirates Stadium last May.
