Canadian rocker Bryan Adams has had quite a career. Even today his huge song (Everything I Do) I Do It For You has spent the longest period at the top of the UK Chart, with sixteen weeks at number one. That's practically a third of a year.
He is also the most successful male Canadian musician ever, having sold 75 million albums and 30 million singles worldwide. Bryan Adams has written songs for many successful artists including Rod Stewart and KISS, but it is his own songs such as Run To You, Summer Of '69 and Heaven.
All this makes the news of a Bryan Adams tour at highly intimate venues rather surprising but welcome news. Tickets are on sale now, and Adams will play the following dates:
October 13th 2010 - St George's Concert Hall, Bradford
October 14th 2010 - Victoria Hall, Stoke-On-Trent
October 15th 2010 - Alexandra Theatre, Birmingham
October 16th 2010 - Regent Theatre, Ipswich
October 17th 2010 - The Lowry Centre, Salford
October 18th 2010 - The Sage, Gateshead
October 19th 2010 - Royal Concert Hall, Glasgow
