Bloc Party set to release remix album

It has been announced that Bloc Party are set to release a remix album based around songs from their most recent LP Intimacy.
The album, to be titled 'Intimacy Remixed', is due to be released this May 11 and will be preceded by a single release of Signs which has been remixed by Armand Van Helden, on April 27.
The Bloc Party remix album will feature remixes by acts such as Armand Van Helden, Mogwai, No Age and Filthy Dukes.
Bloc Party are due to embark on a tour later on this year as the launch a month of shows they are rechristening BLOCTOBER . The Bloc Party tour will kick off at Blackpool Empress Ballroom (October 2). The Tour will then continue to Edinburgh Picture House (October 3), Inverness Iron Works (October 4), Aberdeen Music Hall (October 6), Dunfermline Alhambra (October 7), Hull City Hall (October 8), Sheffield Academy (October 10), Leeds Academy (October 11), Lincoln Engine Shed (October 12) Stoke Victoria Hall (October 14), Birmingham Academy (October 15), Newport Centre (October 16), Llandudno Arena (October 18), Liverpool University (October 19), Bristol Academy (October 20), Truro Hall for Cornwall (October 22), Plymouth Pavillion (October 23), Brighton Centre (October 24), Southend Cliffs Pavilion (October 26), Cambridge Corn Exchange (October 27), Nottingham Rock City (October 28) and Reading Rivermead (October 30). The Bloc Party Bloctober tour will come to a close at Bournemouth Bic (October 31). Bloc Party Tickets are still available to compare from £22.50
