Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker has revealed that the band's upcoming album picks up where they left off.
Barker said that recording sessions are going well, yet admitted it is "hard to say" how far into the process the band are.
"The sound of the record I think will be kind of the same stuff as past Blink albums, so it won't be anything that people will be shocked by, what we're writing in the studio at the moment. If I was to disconnect myself from it and kind of take myself out of it and be a fan, it feels like songs that have progressed from the last album."
The group, completed by Tom DeLonge and Mark Hoppus, reunited in 2009 following a five-year hiatus.
The album will be the band's first release since 2003'sBlink-182.
