Biffy Clyro tour dates announced

Biffy Clyro have announced details of their forthcoming UK tour.

Biffy Clyro are currently recording their fifth studio album in Los Angeles with producer Garth Richardson.

Garth Richardson also worked with Biffy Clyro on their last album titled Puzzle, which was released in June 2007.

Fans of Biffy Clyro can expect the new album to be released in September 2009, with songs from the new album expected to feature heavily on the tour that follows.

The Biffy Clyro tour comes to the UK on November 1 at the Dundee Caird Hall followed by two shows at the Glasgow Barrowland (November 2 & 3).

Biffy Clyro will also play at the Nottingham Rock City (November 8), Birmingham O2 Academy (November 9) and the London Brixton O2 Academy (November 12) before bringing the tour to a close at the Southampton Guildhall (November 16).

Biffy Clyro tickets to these new dates will go on general sale on Friday June 19 at 9am.

However, fans of Biffy Clyro who cannot wait until then can catch the Scottish band in action at the V Festival, which takes place at Chelmsford Hylands Park and Shifnal Weston Park over the weekend of August 22-23.
