Biffy Clyro have earned their spot, says Sonisphere boss

Stuart Galbraith has said that Biffy Clyro deserve to be a headline act at this year's Sonisphere Festival and they fit in well with the other big names on show.

Galbraith told RockAAA: We took a leap of faith booking Biffy Clyro but that has paid off as they have grown and become one of the UKs biggest rock bands. We started speaking to them six-months ago and they have really grown and are headlining on merit.

On having Metalica, Slayer, Megadeath and Anthrax on the same bill, Galbraith said: The Big Four will be at Knebworth for first time this year and we are very honoured and proud to have them."

Sonisphere takes place at Knebworth House from the 8th - 10th July 2011.
