Beyonce confirmed for Glastonbury

It has recently been announced that Beyonce will headline the the 2011 Glastonbury Festival.

Beyonce will join other acts currently pencilled in to play the 2011 Glastonbury Festival once they have been officially confirmed. Acts rumoured to be joining the lineup include Coldplay, Arcade Fire and U2.

Fans will, of course, remember the 2008 Glastonbury Festival where Beyonce's husband, Jay-z headlined and shocked the fans by playing the Oasis track 'Wonderwall'.

Glastonbury 2011 takes place at Worthy Farm in Somerset from Wednesday 22nd to Sunday 26th June.

Whilst Glastonbury tickets have completely sold out, Festival tickets for some of this summer's top events including Reading, Leeds, V Festival, Wireless, Bestival and many more are available now.
