Alberto Aquilani may quit Liverpool

Liverpool midfielder Alberto Aquilani, currently on loan at Juventus, looks set to leave the Anfield club despite not yet being offered a permanent deal by the Italians.

Arriving at Liverpool in 2009 for £17 million from Roma, a lot was expected of Aquilani but a succession of injuries and poor form left the talented international in the cold.

Aquilani has now made 26 appearances for Juventus and is desperate to make his stay at the Stadio Olimpico permanent.
