Aerosmith announce O2 Arena date

Aerosmith have announced a special performance at London's O2 Arena this summer. Steven Tyler and his band are set to play at the Greenwich venue on June 15, playing as part of their 'Cocked, Loaded, Ready to Rock' 2010 tour. The frontman said that the new date was due to massive demand for the US rockers after it was announced they were headlining this year's Download Festival. Tyler, tongue firmly-in-cheek, said: 'Back by popular demand with more spit and fire than ever before, we're coming across the pond and parting the waters as we go.'

Although doubts were expressed about the future of frontman Steven Tyler, it has been confirmed that the charismatic singer will lead the band at the show. Tickets for Aerosmith at London's O2 Arena are expected to go on sale soon and will be available to compare through Tixdaq.com.
