A-ha to split up

A-ha has announced that 27 years after forming and nearly 15 years after their first hiatus, the band is splitting up for good towards the end of next year.
"We've literally lived the ultimate boy's adventure tale,"said the trio, who added that this meant they could follow "other meaningful aspects of life, be it humanitarian work, politics, or whatever else".
The Norwegian band scored international hits with The Sun Always Shines On TV and Take On Me in the 1980s.
Their most recent album, Foot Of The Mountain, was released only in June, producing a top-10 hit of the same name that signalled a return to their synth-pop roots after a period of musical introspection and diversification. The album charted at number 5 in the UK.
